Near Field Communication (NFC) RFID
Near Field Communication, or NFC, is a short-range, high frequency wireless RFID communication technology. NFC provides secure wireless communication between internet networked smart NFC devices, like NFC mobile phones, and NFC enabled objects or other NFC receptions devices such as other mobile phones, payment terminals or identification readers.
The applications are only limited by the imagination and creativity of the individual. This makes the experience of mobile internet and other mobile services fast and convenient, and presents new opportunities. Mobile NFC is making the ‘internet of things’ a reality, opening the world of NFC applications to new audiences, including advertisers, marketing agencies and potentially to every consumer using a mobile NFC phone.
NFC RFID APPLICATIONS
Advertising, marketing, promotions, coupons and phone numbers:
- Advertising websites and online shops through an NFC link instantly connecting to the target site

- Service phone numbers advertised via an NFC label for instant calls
